Meet More of our Team!
Since 2012, Heather has been one of our go-to gals! Auction, Registration, Set Up, Event Prep, Special VIP events, planning meetings. Heather is always there and we couldn’t be more grateful. Having no official title or committee designation doesn’t mean Heather is not at the top of mind when Colby & Cate’s Charities needs something. And when we do, we know we can always count on Heather Good, because she knows the kids count on us and we can always count on Heather. No matter the ask, we never need to remind her that “It’s For The Kids” Heather knows. And it shows! When she’s not helping our “kids”, her kids, teaching Sunday school or serving others, Heather can be found at Halo Salon in Carmel, making others beautiful – just like her and the rest of our team below.
Marcy Carson: Auction Team As a mother of a child who is frequently in and out of children’s hospitals with her son Matthew, Marcy is a passionate believer in Our Mission. The irony is Marcy was a volunteer with Colby & Cate’s Charities BEFORE she had a personal experience reach into her home and heart. Since 2009, Marcy has been a valuable member of our auction team. From procurement to even a leadership role, Marcy has been a huge asset to our team over the years! Her son is doing well managing is condition and is a frequent musical performer at Colby & Cate’s Birthday Bash. When Marcy is not jet-setting across the world as Sr Director of Procurement at CSM Sport & Entertainment, she can be found watching Matthew’s band perform or at a gym watching her other son Michael winning trophies in gymnastics.
Stacy London: Auction Team
Stacy joined our auction team in 2017 and asked for a larger role 2018. Ummm, OK! Twist our arms! Stacy is a go-getter with a heart way larger than the size of the iPad you might be learning about her on. When she’s not hitting the bricks looking for auction items, you’ll find her serving as the Executive Director of Smoke-Free Hamilton County. We know she wants to rid the world of smoke. We can’t wait to see the results of her efforts for the kids!
Kirsten Tragesser: Grant Writer
Kirsten is one of the newest members to our organization, joining us in 2017. A 2017 Indianapolis Business Journal Health Care Hero, Kirsten is a certified Child Life Specialist whom has experienced both sides of what hospitals offer. Kirsten wants to make an even larger impact in the lives of chronically and critically ill or injured children beyond what she does for a living. After learning about Colby & Cate’s Charities, she inquired about how she could become involved. With a Master’s Degree, her personal experience and certification as a Child Life Specialist at both Riley Hospital for Children and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital AND being an IBJ Health Care Hero, we feel Kirsten is the perfect fit to fill the role of grant writer. A successful grant writing program will allows to greatly enhance our in-house programs and services, such as the experiences Colby & Cate’s Charities provides patients, chaperones and in some cases entire families.
Paige Vogus: Junior Board Advisor/Mentor
Like her mother, Paige has a servants heart. Paige was instrumental in bringing Westfield Dance Marathon to Westfield High School 4 years after graduating. Luckily, in 2017, she was able to participate, as a Senior with IUPUI Jagathon – the collegiate sponsor of WHSDM. Now a nurse at Riley Hospital for children, Paige joined us in 2017 as an advisor and mentor to Colby & Cate’s Junior Board.
