After a very successful first year in 2018, Colby & Cate’s Charities is thrilled that we are returning to Aspen Colorado for the Aspen Winter Games.

Colby & Cate’s Charities is ecstatic to be doubling our group to 8 oncology patients from Indiana to participate in the Aspen Winter Games for a full week in March 2019!

The Aspen Winter Games is an adaptive ski camp for children with cancer held in March in Aspen, Colorado.

Organized by our friends at Shining Stars Foundation Colby & Cate’s Charities is pleased to have this opportunity, thanks to our many supporters, to send 4 brave patients from both Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent AND Riley Hospital for Children to Aspen  to learn to ski or enhance their ski abilities.

A registered nurse from both Peyton Manning and Riley will travel with the patients both to and from Aspen and accompany them during their stay for this patient-only experience as parents and siblings do not attend (They get to join them this summer!)

Upon arriving, they will connect with approximately 70 other oncology patients from across the US as well as meet the army of medical staff, volunteers and ski instructors who have dedicated a week of their lives to participating in this event.

When the kids are not on the mountain, they will be interacting together in the lodge.  Playing games, singing, hanging by the fire. Being kids! Or heading in to town for Disco Night.  Or heading into the mountains to go snowmobiling.   Or shopping in Aspen at the many shops who open their doors with discounts and even free items for the kids.

Everything from travel, accommodations, meals, ski gear, lift tickets and more are being provided by Colby & Cate’s Charities and our friends/partners at Shining Stars Foundation.

If you would like to help Colby & Cate’s Charities fund this incredible experience, we thank you in advance for your contribution and support!
